COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Daud Integration is a communication system integrator that specializes in the design, implementation, and support of strategic, integrated communications solutions. We support bulky as well as small- to medium-sized enterprise customers in need of converged communications solutions and applications. Our solutions include Satellite Link, Radio Link, Voice over IP, GSM Communication, Unified messaging and IP-based communications technologies.

Radio Link

Daud Integration recommends The Motorola Canopy wireless equipment, operating in 5.7GHz (FCC U-NII) band. Although this is an unlicensed frequency per BTRC regulations, the frequency range remains underutilized. Wireless data communications network operating in this frequency range will experience little to no interference.

Canopy is a line of sight (LOS) technology available in point-to-point as well as point-to-multipoint configuration. A point-to-point link can be formed with a pair of Backhaul (BH) units pointing at each other.

The Canopy is a 10Mbps wireless bridge platform with the measurable throughput of 6Mbps point-to-point. The point-to-point range is 56km.

Point-to-Point

A BH (Back Haul) pair with Reflector kits would fulfill the requirement well and also offer a greater throughput capacity. The data transmitted within these two BM's will be received at the distribution switch of the two buildings. And thus two of your buildings will be interconnected. You are now ready to transfer all sorts of data between these two facilities.

Antenna

All the Canopy modules are enclosed in the same 11.75”x3.4”x3.4” all-in-one housing. The modules are fully integrated with antenna, RF components, and Ethernet built-in to the enclosure.

Bandwidth

The system bit rate is 10Mbps. Canopy system throughput is 6 Mbps optimized for heavy loading, so the throughput does not degrade as more subscribers are added.

Carrier to Interference

All Canopy radios are tested at the factory to meet 3 dB carriers to interference. The nominal C/I of Canopy radios, based on parametric testing is ~2 dB. This is the lowest in the industry and a key reason that the Canopy platform is the most robust solution in the face of external interference.

User Interface for Radio

All Canopy radios are equipped with a Web Server built-in to the radio. This supports an intuitive local interface for installation as well as providing the same interface for remote management. The Canopy platform also supports Telnet, FTP, and SNMP for machine interfaces to central servers.

Regulatory Information

The 5.7GHz is license free spectrum in Bangladesh. However, BTRC requires that their office be notified of any 5.7GHz radio equipment.

An Interactive Voice Response (IVR) processes inbound phone calls, plays recorded messages including information extracted from databases and the Internet, and potentially routes calls to either in-house service agents or transfers the caller to an outside extension. It enhances our phone system's current robust features of predictive dialing, ACD, and digital call recording. This 800 number system acts as a toll free answering service, front ending your phone, collecting useful information from a caller before the call is transferred to an agent. And the IVR system could fulfill the caller's request without a transfer.
